  • Sadly, neither NASA nor anyone else will ever be able to build a warp drive because the Universe doesn’t allow FTL travel. Despite the fact that the Warp drive itself is not breaking the Light-speed barrier, the particles used to create the Warp field have to, which is what make it impossible. (Plus, it would generate paradox, and the laws of the universe do not allow paradox to occur). Not to be pessimistic; I’d be the first to jump aboard if it were possible.
